Salish Kootenai College (SKC) Emergency Services Academy is hosting a terrific three day training opportunity. The training will consist of three specific tracks: Law Enforcement and Schools, Health Care Providers and Systems and Emergency Managers. Each track will receive advanced, specialty training in Active Threat Management and Interventions.
National Centers of Excellence such as CDP, RDPC and NCBRT will be providing their world class courses during the symposium. The 24 hours of training will include an opening plenary session and then a unified tabletop exercise that will integrate each of the three tracks.
Schools and Law Enforcement. In this track each organization will learn active threat intervention techniques and then learn and train together for an active threat/shooter in a school environment.
Health Providers. The health track will focus on how active threat events are managed and handled.
Emergency Managers. The EM track will focus on advanced command and control functions and operations for an Active Threat/Shooter event in your jurisdiction.
